oneDecember Lunch Ordering Deadline

The deadline to order lunches for the month of December (if you have not done so already) is Monday, November 30. Please do so by logging into your account on www.orderlunches.com.

Details on the lunches for the next semester will be sent out in December so you may order for January and possibly for the entire Spring semester. Stay tuned for more information.
Our Online Islamic Book Fair is Here!

We are holding an online Islamic book fair through Noorart. Noorart is the trusted supplier for our Islamic studies and Arabic curriculum books and we encourage you to expand your child's relationship with the two subjects through the extensive supply of books, gifts, audio, and videos for your child's benefit at home. Click here to begin shopping on our online book fair page, which ends on Saturday, December 5. (Click here for a list of suggested reading lists per grade level. You can shop for children younger than 1st grade by shopping by age.) Not only will you be able to build upon your child's library at home, you will also be supporting ILM Academy as we will receive 20% of the profits! Therefore, let your family members and friends know about this online fair. Anyone can purchase from us! All the books will be shipped to our school after the book fair ends and we will send the book packages home with your child at that time. (It will most likely be in the last week of December before school lets out for winter break.)
fourGrandparents Day Lunch

We will have our annual grandparents day lunch on Wednesday, December 9. This is a day when grandparents come to the school to have lunch with the students. We will release the exact schedule in the next couple of weeks as the timings for our students from ECC up through 8th grade are staggered so the grandparents may need to have lunch with different grandchildren at different times. Please note that the grandparents have to bring their own lunch, as does your child (unless s/he is signed up for the Wednesday chicken sandwich lunches). If your child's grandparents are not here, you are welcome to come have lunch with your child or send an aunt/uncle.
The ILM Academy 2015-2016 Yearbook!

Last year's ILM Academy yearbook was a great success! We are making them again this year and, as before, there will be a large discount if ordered by the end of December. We are going with a new company this year, which will offer better quality and more options and our yearbook will be bigger (48 pages of your student's memories!). Options include upgrading the standard soft cover to a hard cover and add additional page inserts. (There are autograph pages already, but you can add more.)

Click here to order the books (only $20 until December 31) and use the ILM Academy code 12634916 to begin.
Submit Your Pictures for the Yearbook!

The school yearbook is open for you to submit your own pictures of your student or any of our school events. You can do so by clicking here, making an account, and entering with the access code JTEXZW. It is not a guarantee the pictures will be used as it depends on the variety and quality (no cell phone pictures please). The yearbook committee appreciates your help in collecting pictures!
threeScholastic Book Fair

Our annual Scholastic book fair week will be Monday, December 7 through Friday, December 11. This is an onsite book fair that will be set up in the school for students to purchase books from all week. Books will range from the age of our ECC students up through 8th grade and will be of all genres - fiction, nonfiction, science, technology, art, history, and more. There will also be an option to shop Scholastic books through our online fair. More information coming in the next couple of weeks!
Postponement of Blood Drive

Our annual blood drive is being postponed to a date TBA in January. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center was lacking staffing for the day of our blood drive and therefore had to cancel. We will let you know when we have a new date set with them.
Early Dismissal

The last day of the winter semester (Friday, December 18) will be a half day with dismissal at 11:45 for all students, ECC through 8th grade. All students must be dismissed at that time for our staff in-service.
