Walking to the School
Please make sure if you are ever walking your children to the school at arrivals time or walking them away at dismissal time, to walk on the sidewalks for your safety and efficiency of our arrival/dismissal procedures.

The school day begins at 8:10am, however students may arrive as early as 7:55. Starting this week, elementary and middle school students will be marked tardy if they are not in class by 8:10am.
The school day ends at 3:10 for Montessori, elementary, and middle school students. ECC student dismissal time is 3:00 in order to facilitate the dismissal process for the whole school. All students must be picked up no later than 3:25. A $15 late fee will be applied for each student being picked up after 3:25.

Parent-Student HandbookThe parent-student handbook for the 2014-2015 academic year is ready and published on our website. You can access it by clicking here. It will also be available in the bottom right Resources section of these weekly newsletters throughout the year.
All families must abide by the school policies therein so we encourage you all to review the handbook completely.

PTA Teacher Meet and Greet
The PTA will be hosting a teacher meet and greet event on Friday, September 12 at 8:30am. All parents are welcome to attend to meet with their child(ren)'s teachers and enjoy breakfast with fellow school parents. |
All families will be given 2 carpool tags to hang by their rear view mirrors for when they come to pick up their children so we can verify that the car belongs to an ILM Academy parent.
In addition to this tag, we will always verify if the person picking up your child is authorized to do so according to the pick up authorization list you filled out on the TADS enrollment forms. If you have any permanent changes to your pick up authorization list, please let us know ASAP. Any one time or other temporary pick ups need to be communicated to us via email for those days.
If you need more car tags for additional cars or authorized pick up personnel who pick up your childr(en) regularly, email us to request more.

Upcoming Early Dismissal
There will be early dismissal for all students (this includes ECC) on Wednesday, September 10 at 2pm. There will be a few other early dismissal days throughout this academic year and will be for the purpose of allowing the school to have staff wide meetings to cover necessary topics for the productive running of the school on a day to day basis.
