Call Me Malcolm is an amazing story of the human spirit and the liberating struggle to realize and express one’s truest sense of self. This brave film offers us a glimpse into Malcolm’s life and into the lives of others who identify as transgender, showing how shame and fear can be overcome by grace, compassion and knowledge.

Free admission. We encourage donations to Casa Ruby.

The Property Committee needs the help of all Westmorelanders!

In preparation for the forthcoming construction, the church has hired a new company to collect our trash. The primary aim in doing this is to improve the way we recycle and collect trash. To accomplish this task, the new collection company will be using large bins for trash and recycling.

Inside the church, we will streamline our methods of recycling. The Property Committee has purchased three new double-bin recycling units that will be used to collect cans, plastic, and glass in one unit and the other unit will be for plain paper (paper that does not have food waste on it). These units will be in the Social Hall and Kitchen. There also are blue recycling bins located throughout the church that are strictly for plain paper (paper that does not have food waste on it).

With everyone’s help the church can become more “green” and help the planet God created.

The cost is $50. You can mail your check the church office or drop it in the collection plate with a notation that it is for chancel flowers.
