Baptism of the Lord
This Sunday, January 11, is the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, when through the descent of a dove, God made manifest that Jesus was his beloved Son, sent for the salvation of the world.
On this feast day, we end our journey of revelation and the Christmas season. We have seen the Messiah. We know He came for all people. We are beginning to understand that, as members of His Body, we have a duty to carry on His work.
Suggested Meditation: Retell the stories of your children's baptisms and renew your baptismal promises by reciting together the Nicene Creed.

Tapas at the Taqueria
Join The Contemporary Couples' Club for an evening of food & fellowship Sat., Feb. 21, at The Social. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m., and includes tapas at the Uptown Columbus taqueria. The cost to attend is $40 per couple. There will be a cash bar, too.
The mission of The Contemporary Couples' Club is to promote fellowship in the Columbus deanery by presenting social programs for engaged and married Catholic couples and couples interested in exploring the Catholic Faith. Couples in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s are invited to participate.
