Pentecost

Each year the Church celebrates 50 days of Easter, culminating at the feast of Pentecost. Pentecost, which will be celebrated May 24th this year, marks the occasion of God's sending the Holy Spirit upon Jesus' disciples after His resurrection. Before Pentecost, the disciples were unsure of what they were to do next, and spent most of their time in hiding. After Pentecost, and the gift of the Holy Spirit, they understood their mission to spread the Good News of Jesus, and they had the courage to come out of hiding and speak openly about who Jesus was, and what He had accomplished by His dying and rising.

Come, Holy Spirit!

Yes, in any discernment of God's call, we need to call on the Holy Spirit to come to fill and inspire us. Do we think to call on the Holy Spirit? Pentecost reminds us to do this not just on one feast during the year...but every day.

Father's Day Mums

Members of St. Anne's Council of Catholic Women will take orders for Father's Day mums after all the Masses on May 23/24, 30/31, & June 6/7.

Purchase a mum or mums to honor/remember your father. His name and yours will be listed in the bulletin on Father's Day, June 15. The mums, which will be displayed on the altar the weekend of Father's Day, are $5 each. All proceeds go to local, national and international charities.

Sunday Masses: 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m.
Daily Mass: Monday-Friday at 7:30 a.m., Saturday 10 a.m.
Divine Mercy Chaplet: Tuesdays at 5 p.m.
Rosary: Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Chapel
Eucharistic Adoration: Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Rosary and Benediction at 5:30 p.m.
Reconciliation: Saturdays, from 4 to 5 p.m., in the Chapel, and by appointment
