Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

We had a very nice Mass today focused on the Wisdom of the Cross. In making our preparations for Service Day on Saturday, we have an excellent opportunity to model that wisdom through our actions by making one last donation to the Care Kits, or to drop in on Saturday to help out in the Walmesley Center. I look forward to seeing many of you at Fr. Jack's 9am blessing of the service day to kick things off!

Tonight, take the night off from cooking and join other OLG families at the Great American Diner, where we are getting a 10% on all sales tonight!

So much other activities going on around here with build-up for Cultural Night (April 28th), Jog-a-thon (5/4), Talent Show (forms due tomorrow), Band and Music performances, and soon ACRE and MAPs testing! With all the rush of May's events, please take time to recognize a staff member for the Distinguished Teacher/Staff Award. A separate Constant Contact invite will come to you later this evening to invite you to nominate a staff member. See the link for examples of recent awards and how this funded item enhances our school through an exceptional staff development opportunities!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

Nourish Change
1 in 9 people around the world do not have enough to eat. Poor nutrition not only stunts the growth of 1 in 4 children, but causes 45% of deaths in those under 5, a total of 3.1 million children every year! Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the largest private distributor of U.S. food aid, works to respond to immediate needs and also helps create sustainable change by addressing root causes, working on land management and conservation, and teaching agricultural practices to increase food production. You can join them in the work by becoming an advocate for life-sustaining policies. Join their new Nourish Change campaign and raise your voice to prevent hunger.
