Dear OLG Families,
Talent abounds around OLG... from last week's Spring Concert and talent show, to this week's student council elections and 8th Grade Musical presentations, its' been quite a show of students on stage! Come tonight to see the musical... it is a fantastical Suessical!
Also tomorrow is another chance for students to shine in family groups during the Field Day (
wear colors by Family Group), and in the afternoon our fun staff vs. student Volleyball game (2pm). In between Field Day and the volleyball game, there is the annual PO Hot Dog picnic lunch in which we welcome
all volunteers to help serve/donate lunch.
And in to the last few weeks of the year...

The end of the year is upon us. Has your kiddo outgrown their uniform and it’s still in good condition? Well it's time to turn it in for the next kid! I will be
collecting uniforms every day the week of June 11th. For your convenience there will be empty boxes at both drop off/pick up areas at the north and south parking lots. Please bring in your
GENTLY USED pants, jumpers, skirts, etc.
NO WHITE SHIRTS PLEASE UNLESS THEY ARE NEW OR BARELY USED!
AND WE REALLY NEED SWEATSHIRTS!
Or, at any time you can bring them to the office. E-mail

Youth Migrant Project Donation Collection
Some give by going. Some go by giving.
Five high school students from OLG will be joining youth from St. Mary’s and St. Anne’s on the Youth Migrant Project this July. The youth will work at a food bank, host a fiesta for migrant families, provide lunches for children, work in the fields, attend Mass in a migrant camp, and reflect together on the experience in the light of our faith. As part of our trip, we will be collecting food, clothing, school supplies, craft materials, and baby shower gifts for the families we will encounter.
Click here for a full list of needed items or see church bulletin insert. Please return any donations to the parish office or the box in the narthex by June 24. Thank you for your support!
Accelerator Host Home Program
Serving Young People, ages 18-24, experiencing homelessness in King County
On any given night in King County, over 1,200 youth and young adults experience homelessness. Shelter beds and resources are limited, leaving the majority of young people without access to food or safe housing. The YMCA is looking for caring adults, willing to open their home to a young person at risk of homelessness. Do you want to make a difference? Do you live within King County? Do you have a spare bedroom? To learn more please attend an open house on, Tuesday, June 12th from 6:30-7:30pm at St. James Cathedral in the Pastoral Outreach Center (907 Columbia St.).
Every month, the Intercommunity Peace & Justice Center hosts silent vigils to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with victims of human trafficking. You are invited to join IPJC on the first Sunday of each month from 1:30-2pm at Westlake Park (4
th Street and Pine). The next vigil will be on Sunday, June 2
nd. Contact
IPJC for more information (206) 223-1138.
June Community Meal
All are invited for this free, restaurant-style meal on Sunday, June 10 at 1pm. Come enjoy a hot meal, served right at your table in the Walmesley Center. Share fellowship with others and build community. This month's meal is provided by Hope Lutheran.
