Serving Berkshire County Since 2008
 Greetings!
Weeks like this I can’t help but feel giddy like an excited school girl and it’s all because of local fruit.

Last year we never got to taste a local cherry because the local stone fruit was devastated by the unseasonable Spring weather but this year the local farmers have been reporting that the stone fruit trees are full of blooms and looking beautiful.

This week we are excited to offer local sweet, dark red cherries and rainier cherries!
We have a good amount of cherries scheduled to arrive to us on Wednesday but there is no telling if we will receive more next week so be sure to order them online or stop in the market starting Wednesday.

We are also receiving the first local blueberries of the season! I love it when we get a week or two when local blueberries and strawberries overlap. Strawberry season is expected to end soon and blueberries will be limited this week.
Blueberries
As for vegetables, this is looking like the last week for local asparagus. Many of you are likely tired of it by now but keep in mind this will be it until next May. This will also be the last week we feature garlic scapes in the baskets.

As for new items, we are welcoming shelling peas this week. And the sugar snap peas are being featured in almost all of the baskets because they are incredibly crisp and sweet.

Local pickling cucumbers are arriving to us and summer squash is ramping up.

We will not have local corn in time for the July 4th holiday because of the cooler, wet Spring we had. However, starting this Wednesday we will have organic sweet corn from the Carolinas available.

4th of July Holiday
There will be no changes to our delivery and market pick up schedule for next week.

The market will be OPEN Tuesday, July 4th 10am-6pm!
Strawberries - This is it!

The local strawberry season will likely be over after July 4th, so stock up now and enjoy them through the holiday weekend!

It has been a great season but it's not quite over yet so be sure to enjoy that sweet taste of summer!

Reading is a semi-soft Raclette style cheese ideally suited for melting over vegetables, bread or meats, yet it can stand alone on any cheese plate. It offers a creamy, nutty flavor that is again unique to this cheese coming from cows grazing in Vermont pastures.

Remain in Light Pilsner
Cambridge Brewing Company, MA
SALE Price $9.80

Craft Brewed Hoppy Pilsner. American light lagers and Pilsners are easy to drink and refreshing. They are not, however, easy for a craft brewer to make – but we are always up for a challenge. Pilsner malt and flaked rice provide sweet cereal grain notes while German and Czech hops add spiciness and a balanced bitterness to the finish. Cold fermented and aged with a German lager yeast, the palate is clean with a snappy finish.

With great sadness, we are no longer able to offer Leahey Farm, Lee, MA milk because it is no longer being bottled.

We are looking for some other options to replace this fantastic local milk.

Currently, we offer local milk from High Lawn Farm in Lee, MA and Mapleline glass bottle milk in Hadley, MA. We have also added Kimball Farm Vermont Organic milk.
