Serving Berkshire County Since 2008
 Greetings!
Please note, our new
market hours for the
Fall & Winter season.

Every so often we like to remind our customers of the benefits of shopping with Berkshire Organics.

1.       We have the lowest prices on local & organic produce in the area (Our quarterly price check is coming out soon)!

2.       We do all the work for you. We vet and research every product that we sell to ensure it’s organic and/or non-gmo verified. We even go a step further than other stores who say they do the same by not selling items from traitor brands or organic brands who were bought out by large corporations who have opposed GMO labeling.

3.       When you shop online with us, there are no hidden or extra fees! We’ll do your grocery shopping for you and deliver it straight to your door in Berkshire County.

4.       Support local! We offer the best variety of local produce items and locally-made food items at competitive prices.

5.       When you shop with us, you support over a hundred local farms and food artisans plus, a local family in Berkshire County and over 15 staff members who are a part of the local community and economy.

Where you shop matters! Thank you for voting with your hard earned money!

SQUASH CHALLENGE
When you order a produce basket we always try and feature a new local apple variety each week. We also try to include a different Winter Squash for several weeks so you can add variety to your diet and really taste the local Fall flavors. It's a great way to challenge and introduce yourself to new items.

This weeks baskets include the
Acorn Squash
The rind of the Green acorn is hardy with a thin skin that is edible when cooked. The body of the squash is lined with deeply furrowed ridges that taper to a point opposite the squashes flattened stem end. When cooked its yellow-orange flesh offers a mildly sweet and nutty flavor.

St. Stephen Triple Cream
from Four Fat Fowl Artisan Creamery in Stephentown, NY
Our first cheese is a beautiful, hand-crafted triple cream that bursts with buttery and milky overtones. A smooth, silky interior made from jersey cow’s milk and fresh jersey cream creates the perfect texture, while our soft, bloomy rind adds an earthy flavor with nutty undertones.

St. Stephen will leave you wanting more to share with a friend and a glass of bubbly. This classic cheese works any time of day – spread it on your toast for breakfast, serve it as an appetizer before dinner or dress it up with some honey or berries for a fancy dessert.

2015 Illahe Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir
Willamette Valley, Oregon
SALE PRICE $21.59
Grape Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir

Designation: Organic, Sustainable, LIVE – certified and Salmon Safe.

Notes: Aromas of blueberry, red fruits, licorice fern, with light char and vanilla clove. The perceivable fruit develops into a round mid-palate, smooth tannins, and notes of rose petal. This pinot is well balanced, clarified by racking (no fining or filtering), maintaining a layering mouth feel and acidity. The finish lingers with elegant persistence. A domestic Pinot Noir that all others should be judged against!
