Caritas of Waco has served the Waco area since 1967. Clients receive help with food, clothing, household items, and travel needs regardless of race, age, sex, or ethnicity. New grants provide special services for veterans and those seeking job training. Volunteers and donations are always welcome.          
The City of Waco Texas includes nearly 2000 employees within four dozen departments, all dedicated to the welfare and safety of 130,000+ residents. The City is led by the Mayor and City Council representing five local districts. The City maintains a continuously active job board and provides leadership opportunities within two dozen Boards & Commission groups.
NeighborWorks Waco has assisted thousands of families since 1993 and built over 180 homes since 1997. The staff provide many programs including: Mortgage Lending, Rental Home, New Home Construction and Sale, Homebuyer and Financial Education, Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance, Home Improvement Lending, Credit Counseling and Community Building and Engagement.
