All roads lead to your favorite Sunday outing at the Ramsey Farmers' Market.

We are pleased and proud that your votes counted and for the 5th consecutive year, your Ramsey Farmers' Market is Bergen Magazine's 2017 Winner for Best Farmers' Market! A grateful thank you to all our loyal farmers' market followers, our dedicated and talented farmers and vendors, our committed volunteers, and support from the Borough of Ramsey and local business sponsors. Together we have created a spectacular Sunday Ramsey destination!

Don't forget- August 6 is our annual Peach Festival. Come celebrate with us as we feature peach pies, cakes, jam, granola, artisan ice pops, lemonade and ice tea and much more. There is still time to enter our amateur Perfect Peach Pie/Cobbler contest sponsored by the New Jersey Council of Peaches. Details can be found at our website or at our main market tent. Just complete the registration form and mail to Ramsey Farmers' Market, PO Box 76, Ramsey, NJ 07446. On Sunday, August 6, bring your pie or cobbler to our main market tent by 11:45 for judging at noon.
THIS WEEK AT THE MARKET

Each week our farmers are rolling in with more awesome, local vegetables and fruits, freshly picked and ready for you. Colorful eggplant and peppers, sweet corn, tons of herbs, beets, cabbages, sweet, sweet peaches and much more from Matarazzo Farm, Blooming Hill Farm, Madura Farm and Orchards of Concklin - all in season now.

Start your day off with a scrumptious, organic Breakfast Burrito or any of True Food from Nyack's outstanding line of expertly prepared variety of salads, burritos, and baked goods.

Gourmet Nuts and Dried Fruits has expanded their organic line, so just ask Maria and she'll be glad to point them out to you. Experts agree adding nuts to your diet is important... yes, and will make your salads and other dishes much more exciting.

You'll not want to miss Baked with Jake's wonderful cookie ice cream sandwiches, along with David's crowd pleasing, excellent selection of fantastic cookies. Enjoy!

Have you tried a spread of Lynnhaven's Goat Farm cheese topped with grilled peaches on bruschetta? This is only one of hundreds of tempting ways to enjoy Lynnhaven's goat cheese. Colleen love to share her expertise and innovative recipes.

Live, Love Granola returns with over 15 flavors of locally made,small batch, paleo and traditional granola and bars. Always looking to please, they added a new unsweetened mix, "Omega Medley" - a blend of cashews, almonds,walnuts, sunflower seeds and chia seeds all kissed with a hint of cinnamon and ginger. Grain free, paleo, Whole 30, vegan, zero added sugar... wow!!

Professional forager, Dan Lipow from The Foraged Feast joins us this Sunday with an abundance of "wild foods."  Berries, herbs, mushrooms and greens right from the wild!

MoPweeze Bakery returns will their award winning, delicious, top 8 allergen and gluten free, vegan cupcakes and more.  Check out this one... Banana split cupcake with a pineapple filling topped with strawberry frosting drizzled with chocolate syrup and topped with a maraschino cherry.

Peanut Principle returns for an extra Sunday (July has 5 Sundays) with over 30 varieties and flavors of sweet and savory nut butters- perfect anytime.

Welcome back- Latayle Catering with Michelle's unique, crowd pleasing international cuisine with a Caribbean twist! Michelle is so eloquent... and so are her innovative dishes!

Much more to do at your Ramsey Farmers' Market with great music from the fellas from Red Label, a fabulous farm to table demo from Artisan Kitchen and Bar with Chef Howard, and a visit from our local Ramsey Responds organization. Ms. Lorraine is back to enchant the children with fun crafts too!

OTHER THINGS

Dogs allowed at the OUTDOOR market ONLY. Please Did you know that an outdoor temperature of 75 degrees equates to 125 degrees on asphalt? On these hot days, it is probably a good idea to leave your 4-legged friends at home in the shade. Dogs visiting the market should be WALKED by responsible adults before coming to the market and kept on a short leash and away from the food tables . Thank you for your consideration.

Various vendors and farmers accept SNAP benefits. The Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program offers nutritional benefits for pre-qualified recipients. Though an EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer), eligible Food Stamp purchases are available. Check with our farmers and food purveyors regarding their participation in WIC and Senior Certificate programs. Info at the main Market booth.

The Ramsey Farmers' Market encourages Paying it Forward. To share with those less fortunate, bring non-perishable food goods for Center For Food Action, a non-profit food pantry in Mahwah, NJ. Thank you for your donations.
