In light of the Second Coming, God's mission mandate for the Naples Seventh-day Adventist Church is to connect people to Christ, enabling them to be transformed into His likeness and equipped to serve Him.

Worship Message: Part 4: Life From God
Discovering the Ways You Relate to God

Part 4: Life From God
Scripture: Deuteronomy 8:11-14
Theme:
The life from God view says, "I've got to get God back on my side to control the outcomes I'm looking for in my life."  Consumerism (a preoccupation with getting or receiving consumer goods for personal fulfillment) dominates the life from God worldview.  Instead of living bring God glory and serving others, God's value is determined by His usefulness to achieve our self-centered goals.  God, himself carries very little, to no inherent value.  This view uses God as an instrument--as a means to an end.

Next Week's Worship Message: Special Guest Speaker David Canther, "When Passion and Service Unite" Scripture: Galations 5:13.

Stewardship Thoughts: Florida Advance
Richard Godsmark was a farmer near Battle Creek.  He had no money to give, but was eager to have a part in spreading the good news about Jesus.  He did have a pair of oxen, which he fondly named Buck and Bringht.  REalizing teh great need, he sold Buck and Bright and gave the money to the printing press, but that was not the end of the matter.  After his offering, he still felt involved in the work of the printing presses.  Every time he walked into town he made sure to pass the printing office; there he would stop and listen to the roar and clack of the power press, and he would happily say to anyone within hearing distance, "But and Bright are pullin' away; there're pulling away!"  (Nix, Passion, Purpose & Power, p. 81).  Today, you and I can learn something from Richard Godsmark.  Let's give more than an offering.  Let's give our hearts, also, to sharing the good news about Jesus.

2015 Men's Ministries Convention
Life on this planet was intended to be pleasurable and everlasting.  Since the infiltration of sin, humans conflict with each other, causing harmful consequences.  Men and women are hurt, and they hurt others.  Bodies and minds experience violence and terror.  We have developed survival skills that mar our ability to enjoy life in its fullness.  Souls display a full array of reactions from one extreme to the other in the scar spectrum.  It is difficult to forget bad experiences.  In order to survive, we tend to keep grudges and an unforgiving attitude towards those who hurt us.  Doing so, we do perpetrate the pain by self inflicting more harm upon ourselves.
God has prepared the necessary medicine to treat this infectious spiritual disease.  Forgiveness is the solution.  Is it easy to take this medicine? Is it easy to forget the past?  Wouldn't it be wonderful to leave our backpack of hurtful memories behind?

Women's Ministry's Day of Prayer
Evening of March 6 & Prayer Garden of March 7

This year's day of Prayer theme is "It Is Well: The Women, The Prophet and The Prayer." It highlights the importance of intercessory prayer as part of God's plan for us. Women's Day of Prayer is based on the belief in the value of women praying for other women. Women understand one another; the compassion we offer each other is a catalyst for healing and restoration through prayer. The primary objective of intercession, is to reconcile sinners with their heavenly Father, bringing souls into the kingdom of God. We are ambassadors, the Apostle Paul says, helping the redeemed become one with their Creator. Look for more information to come!

Breakfast in the Park

Naples SDA Church has adopted the Breakfast in the Park Ministry that minister to approximately 50 people each week as they serve breakfast, which for some, is the only meal they get that day.  Every week, members spend their Sunday morning developing relationships with those in great need, most are homeless, and some travel by foot and bicycle in order to fellowship together.  We NEED your help.  Come and serve the least of these, as God has commanded. If you can't serve, volunteer to make food.  There are so many ways you can help make a difference in someone's life by showing God's love through caring. See Todd or Tracy Fitts for more information.

eGiving
If you have set up an account on the Naples SDA Church's website for use of the eGiving service, you will be able to log into your account by either downloading the eGiving app or by going to www.eGiving.org and clicking the ST button in the top right hand corner.  You will then be able to put in your login information and access your account information and make donations.
