From the Rector
Dear Friends and Parishioners of St. Mary's,
This Sunday we will continue to sing our Christmas carols as we celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany, which marks the arrival of the wise men from the east to the stable of Christ in Bethlehem. At the 10:00 a.m. service all of our youth are invited to be a part of our procession, which will include the wise men, shepherds, donkeys, and camels, as well as angles and of course, the holy family. Please arrive early in order to get your costumes and parts for this wonderful procession.
The Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 28th,
following one 9:00 a.m. service and a parish wide brunch. Please note that we only have one 9:00 a.m. service on January 28
th
. We will elect our new vestry members for the coming year, approve our 2018 budget, and celebrate all of our ministries here in this wonderful parish. Please bring a dish to share if you wish and plan on joining us. There is a sign-up sheet for the brunch at the back of the church.
If you have a little bit of time following our 10:00 a.m. service this Sunday January 7
th
, your help is needed. We will be taking down all of our Christmas decorations. So please grab some coffee in the hall and lend a hand if you can.
May you, your family, and loved ones have
a blessed New Year!
