Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy Father's Day to the Trinity High School Dads, and all those who love, protect and guide our Blazers as a father would. I do hope you are taking the time to enjoy your family and are staying cool and safe in the summer heat.
I was once told that summer at a school was such a quiet time; it's a time to reflect, rejuvenate, and plan. I am still waiting for that quiet. Trinity is a flurry of activity every day.
As a reminder: The school building is open for business from 8am - 1pm Monday through Thursday.
Class of 2020 graduation is still being planned for July 25 at 10am.
Another thing that is happening daily is the planning for the upcoming year. Last week you were introduced to Amy Gallie, our new Principal. Working with Mrs. Bedell and Mrs. Carey and with the information from the Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health, they are planning for every possibility for next school year.
Unless somehow prohibited, Trinity intends to resume on-campus classes at the start of the school year. At the same time, the team is preparing for many different conceivable scenarios. A portion of the year may be interrupted by eLearning for some or all of the student body. Our plan is to ensure that if any student is unable to be on campus for any Covid-related reason she receives the same stellar education that she would in the classroom.
This is a moving target, as the Governor's office, IDPH and ISBE keep an eye on this ever-evolving situation. We will continue to update you as we know more and our plans solidify.
Lastly, be certain to look at our
newly designed website
. Marketing and Technology have worked tirelessly these past months to ensure that our virtual representation is as impressive as our in person one.
Many thanks for all of your support and all you do for the Blazers!
