Message from the Dean
Dear Trinity Families,

It has been determined that for the start of the 2020-2021 school year, Trinity High School will allow students to be out of uniform through October 1, 2020. This decision has been made for a couple of reasons: 1) Our uniform supplier, Schoolbelles, is experiencing back orders on some of their items due to COVID-19, as you may know. Some items are not expected to be in before the start of school on August 24, 2020. And 2) While we are aiming to air condition as many of the learning spaces as possible, we want students to be comfortable in the event of outdoor learning, outdoor lunch, and waiting periods before the start of school when students will not be permitted in the building prior to their screenings.

On Out of Uniform Days at Trinity, students are allowed to wear Trinity-wear. They are allowed to wear Trinity-wear tops (including their Trinity uniform shirt) (bare midriffs, low cut tops, strapless and tanks are not allowed in school) with shorts, pants or skirts. Students must wear closed toe shoes (athletic shoes are permitted during Out of Uniform Days). Open-toed shoes, sandals, flip-flops and backless shoes are not allowed.

Students may still opt to be in full uniform through October 1, 2020 and may alternate between full uniform and Trinity-wear.

Trinity’s dress code will still consist of the following during Out of Uniform Days:
● Students must have School ID on them at all times
● NO EARBUDS/NO HEADPHONES may be worn without permission from their teachers and may not be worn in the hallways
● Any student coming to school with visible body piercings other than ear piercings will be asked to remove the jewelry and the jewelry will be confiscated.

All uniform and dress code expectations will be reiterated in the August 10th full reopening communication and will also be in the 2020-2021 Student Handbook. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Celebrating Trinity's Class of 2020
Yesterday, we celebrated Trinity's Class of 2020! Following CDC and IDPH guidelines, we were unable to host a traditional auditorium graduation. Instead, history was made with the first ever Trinity Parking Lot Graduation! Members of the Class of 2020 and their families entered the parking lot and processed in their cars towards the stage. Once at the stage, the Blazers exited the car and, as their name was read, walked across the stage to receive her diploma. Families were invited to take photos of the new Trinity alumna on stage and throughout the grounds of Trinity High School.

Congratulations Class of 2020!
Have your ordered your Trinity Branded Face Mask?
