November 2, City Tree Participates in Safety Drills !
Safety is important and City Tree Christian School is committed to keeping our students safe. All of our students who were present in school today  practiced safety drills (fire, earthquake, and lockdown) . We always evacuate to the Northeast parking lot on Elm & 3rd Avenue. Checking attendance is a critical step in ensuring that everyone is accounted for and has safely evacuated the building. Signing your student in and out daily is one of the best ways that you can be sure he/she is safe. Drills are important for both staff and students; they help all of us to know what to do should a real emergency happen. Safety drills are also a licensing requirement. The teachers do a good job at trying to keep the drills low key, but sometimes the noise of the alarm and change in routine can cause little ones to get upset.
