Office Protocol Reminders:
The school office is a very busy place! Please be patient with the staff as we try to help each person who comes in for assistance. Here are some important reminders regarding office protocol:
-Parents and students may enter the office only through the front door. The back office is reserved for staff use only. Parents needing access to the back office must request permission before going into the back.
-Make every effort to read e-mail update each week, check your parent file daily, and read communication from your child's teacher. These resources will answer many questions parents have. This allows our office staff to focus on the needs of children and other school-wide needs.
-Students are not permitted to carry medication on their person. Please drop off medicine at the front desk so that we make sure the proper paperwork required for school staff to administer medicine has been completed prior to leaving school premises. If your child is in middle school, medication must still be dropped off in the office by the parent even though student sign-in is not required.
-If at all possible, please make it part of your drop-off routine to communicate information such as lunch plans, after-school pick-up plans, etc. to your child. It is difficult for the office and can be disruptive to student learning to relay these sorts of messages during the school day.
-Please keep your voice down and take all personal conversations outside the office.
Click here to read more information regarding office protocol and policies in the parent handbook.

Tax Printouts:
Tax time is a busy season for everyone. Please remember that your monthly tuition statement acts as a tax-deductible receipt, we DO NOT provide families with annual statements. It is your responsibility to keep your statements if you require them to file your taxes or to claim dependent care. This means now is the time to begin collecting your receipts for next year! The bookkeeping office will re-print you a copy as a courtesy if you have misplaced yours. Contact the school office to request a replacement if you require one but please allow at least one week for the bookkeeping office to respond to your request.

City Tree Kindergarten, Did you know?
Did you know that City Tree kindergarten class sizes are small and intimate? This allows for lots of personal attention. During the last few years, the typical kindergarten classes range from 12-16 students. Children thrive in a small class; they are well known by their teacher and individual social and academic needs can be more easily met. In addition, smaller classes allow us to do more complicated projects and interesting activities. Small classes just make life better for children (and parents and teachers, too)! Contact Sue Kennedy, Principal, if you would like to visit the kindergarten class and/or learn more. Remember that last day to pay registration at the discounted rate is Friday, April 28!

But this is what you must do: Tell the truth to each other. Render verdicts in your courts that are just and that lead to peace. Don't scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things, says the Lord.
