Alejandra:
...has made good friends, has good teachers, and enjoys school dances
...says City Tree helped her be prepared for high school by teaching her what it means to walk with the Lord, to be a good leader to those around her, and to not be afraid of trying new things!

PicturesPictures of the Week
Our 4th and 5th grade class spent the week at the San Diego Museum of Art program. The students visited the museum, studied art and learned about the Renaissance. They also had the opportunity to create art including their own cathedrals complete with stained glass windows.

We would like to thank our parent volunteers who came to read books in classrooms this week. Thank you to Peter Tucker, Priscilla Morin, Felicia Smith, Ahleisha Crouch, Laura Buckley, & Matt Buckley! Our students greatly appreciate the time you took to read to them!

The first grade class recently learned about the techniques of artist Paul Cezanne, who is well known for his fruit, still life paintings. Students used bright colors & bold outlines to create their citrus paintings. Catch them on display during the Spring art show!
