CTCS Alumni Spotlight:
Catch up with Tatiana Hughes, a graduate of City Tree's 8th grade in 2011, shared with us a little about her college experience so far:
College: Clark Atlanta University
What influenced your college choice?: "I was influenced by the culture and surroundings of attending a HBCU [Historically Black Colleges and Universities]. It was family, welcoming and something new that I had never experienced."
Tell us about your major and career goals?: "I am a Biology major. I selected this major because I want to go into the field of Kinesiology which is sports medicine. My career goals when I graduate are to try and continue on to get my masters degree and work with any NFL, NBA, or WNBA team."
How has God influenced your life and choices?: "God has played a tremendous role in my life in graduating high school and transitioning to college. People think that it's so easy but your first year seems to be your hardest, especially adapting to new life away from home. Children looking forward to attending college, I suggest staying in school, making wise, but smart decisions, put God first ALWAYS and to make sure you major in something you like doing now and for a career."
