Project sites vary by team, Saturday projects 10am - 2pm unless noted and Wednesday project is 6 - 8.30pm

Ballot Party!

The Primary Election is sneaking up on us and your ballots will be due before you know it. Stop by our Ballot Party to mail your ballot (we'll even give you a stamp), celebrate with a drink, mix and mingle with other cool voters like you and maybe even meet a candidate or two!

Service trip to Peru
Dates: Fri 10/19 - Sun 10/28, optional travel extension to Machu Picchu Sun 10/28 - Thurs 11/1
Location: Andean village of Vicos, Peru
Cost: $1,475 includes in country transportation, meals, accommodations, local guides and translators. Does NOT include international flights

Join a team of volunteers and travel internationally to Peru where you'll be living with host families and helping to build better kitchens for selected families in the village! These new kitchens will include smokeless ovens, providing numerous health benefits and more efficient heating for these homes. Plus you'll have time to explore the area, get to know the people and sing and dance each night!

COMMUNITY HAPPENINGS

Clips of Faith - beer and film festival
Fri 7/27 volunteer shifts vary, gates open at 8pm | Gasworks Park | admission is free

Volunteers are need to help set-up, pour beer, sell merchandise, break the event down, etc. This festival includes interactive beer tasting, local food, short films and Gasworks Park! 100% of the beer sales goes to Nature Consortium, an organization supporting Seattle restoration, youth art program and paying artist's living wages!

Volunteer with TEDxRainier

TEDxRainier is taking place on Sat 11/10 and will feature talks by leading innovators, authors, thinkers, leaders and change makers. They are looking for volunteers with specific skill sets to help with the following: web site developer, event management, project managers, production roles, sponsorship team members and more.
