Middle School Dance

Th e middle school had their annual dance this past weekend with a DJ spinning the latest records, pizza, snacks, and lots of fun dancing and enjoying time together. Click here for photos.

Storytelling Grade 5/6

Grade 5 / 6   students shared some of the   writing  they have done this spring with the 1/2 class. In late April, first and second graders shared some of their   writing   with us, so we were delighted to return the gift. After studying Brown Girl Dreaming and other novels-in-verse this spring, e ach   5 / 6   student chose a piece from their   own  poetry  portfolio to read aloud. As students shared their work, it was clear just how much individual growth and collective accomplishment there is to   celebrate   as the year comes to a close.  Click here for photos.
Kindergarten Lemonade Stand Fundraiser

Our kindergarten class worked beautifully together to organize a successful lemonade stand! Each student helped make flyers, decorate the stand,  greet customers with a smile, pour the lemonade, collect the money, and tally the amount of lemonade sold. The lemonade was really delicious too!

Kindergarten  raised $450 exceeding their goal of $200 for Alex's Lemonade Stand. Way to go Kindergarten! If you would like to learn more about this non-profit organization, please go to  alexslemonade.orgClick here  for photos.
Nursery and Grade 8 Partners

Our Annual Fund gifts go beyond closing the gap between the amount of tuition we pay and the actual costs of educating our children. Every Annual Fund gift helps make the Friends School Haverford experience exciting, enriching, and memorable for each and every student.
