Looking Forward to a Successful 2018

Happy New Year! I am so excited for what is in store for the DCR Chamber in 2018. We are gearing up for a big year with our newest neighbors, Minnesota Vikings and TCO Performance Center, opening their doors this spring. There has been an explosive year of economic development with more projects on the drawing board in the communities we serve. We are experiencing historic unemployment rates and the economy of Dakota County continues to thrive. We have a lot of wonderful things taking place but we cannot rest on our laurels. We are committed to providing value to all our members and community leaders through programming, membership development and community outreach. Thanks to all of you for your support of DCR. I look forward to a productive and successful year!
Welcome Nicole McCarthy, Director of Membership

Last week we welcomed Nicole McCarthy to the Chamber staff as Director of Membership! Nicole comes with great experience in sales, fundraising and sponsorship development. She lives in Farmington with her family and is excited to join the DCR Chamber. Please help us welcome Nicole to the Chamber.

Chuck & Don's Ribbon Cutting

Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies in West St. Paul received a proper welcome with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 21. Thanks to everyone who came out!

You are welcome to join our Ambassadors for any of our ribbon cutting  ceremonies as we welcome new businesses to the community. Or host your own! Hosting a ribbon cutting is a great opportunity to show off your remodeled office space, new building, new product or celebrate a business anniversary. Contact us  if you are interested in getting a ribbon cutting on the calendar.
Member Spotlight

My name is Justin Hellickson, I am a Branch Manager with Think Mutual Bank at our Eagan location. Being a member of the Chamber is very important to not only be able to meet new people, but also be able to talk about what you do and why you do it. At Think, our mission is to help individuals build a better life and the chamber is a great outlet to be able to spread our mission throughout Dakota County and beyond. I am looking forward to attending more Coffee Breaks, ribbon-cuttings and after-hour events in 2018, so we can continue to work with local businesses and build on what is already a great foundation for Dakota County!
