Giving Tuesday Next Week

Giving Tuesday is November 28, 2017. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the back-to-back days of deals, join us in kicking off the holiday giving season on Giving Tuesday! On this global day of giving, we are looking for 114 donors to give $100 each to support the Quaker education we offer our students.

It's Time to Clean Out Your Closets! Donations Needed for Holiday Gift Sale

Our students look forward to shopping at our holiday gift sale each year and picking out the perfect gift for their parents and siblings.  This year our sale will be held on December 12 and each gift will be $1.

We are now accepting donations of new and gently used items to sell at the Holiday Gift Sale.  A collection bin is located on the porch of the Meetinghouse now through  Friday, December 11.

Please sort through your closets, cupboards, book shelves,
game drawers, toy bins, and jewelry boxes for gifts
that can be purchased by our students for their family members.
Gifts for dads and teens are always in high demand.

We can always use volunteers.  Sign up here for volunteer information and opportunities.

Food Drive

For the second year, FSH partnered with the Ardmore Food Pantry  to help provide Thanksgiving meals for guests in need. We collected 16 bags this year!  Thank you for your donations and efforts and a special shout out to Tr. Jess for making it all happen.  A community who works together can make a difference!

Classes engaged in a Zones review and shared in an "inventory" of the tools that they can use in the blue, green, yellow, and red zone. Tools might include a fidget, seat cushions, bucket filling compliment, relaxing sand timer, invisible invitation, pencil grips, body break, body hug, etc. Kipper, our friendly therapy dog, also showed us how he can do a wall push up as a body break. Our tool boxes are full!

Our field hockey team played a hard fought game vs FSH moms. The moms were ahead then the kids came back to tie it up towards the end of the game. The moms rallied and ended the game with a 7-5 victory. Both teams enjoyed the challenge and playing together. Click here for photos.
