Could days are the perfect time for Groundwater Field Trips! 

Join WEN for our Groundwater Training this Monday!

 

Groundwater Presentation

Interested in groundwater?  Want to join WEN on a Groundwater Field trip? Have questions about the Missoula aquifer?  Then come to our Groundwater training Monday Feb. 28th!

 

This training is 5:30 to 7:30 at the WEN office (315 South 4th E., Suite 203).  During the training, we will explore groundwater concepts and lessons that are taught on the groundwater field trips.  We will also explore these concepts with the Groundwater Flow Model!

Sat. Feb., 26, 11-12am- Travelers Rest Winter Story Telling: Every Saturday at Travelers Rest there will be Winter Story Telling from different speakers.  For more information click here  

 

Sat. Feb., 26- West Slope Chapter Trout Unlimited Banquet: Our partners are hosting their yearly banquet that allows them to donate to organizations that they support.  There will be a wonderful dinner and an auction, and money raised during the night will go towards WEN's Spring Programs!  To purchase a ticket, contact any fly fishing shop or West Slope Chapter TU.

Mon. Feb., 28 5:30-7:30- WEN Groundwater Training: Interested in groundwater or wanting to volunteer on the upcoming Groundwater Presentations?  This training is for you! You will see the groundwater flow model in action, build your own aquifer, play an interactive game, and learn about groundwater and how it is affected by different environmental and human affects.  For more information call 541-9287 or email us.  

 

Tues. March, 1, 7-8:30- Conservation and Climate Change Lecture Series: This series is free and open to the public and takes place every Tuesday at the University of Montana Gallagher Business Building Room 106.

March 24-26- Montana Environmental Education Association: This year's MEEA conference will be held in Missoula.  WEN will be hosting a Milltown Journey's Field Trip on Thursday March 24th.  For more information go to their website.
