Weekly Update - February 2, 2018
Dear Parents,
We had a great week here!! We prayed together, played together and learned together.
Special thanks to Mrs. Walsh for all of her work coordinating our week. She goes above and beyond and we are blessed to have her. Our faculty and staff also played a large role in everything running so smoothly - we have a great group here!!
Also thank you to Darlene and Dave Henwood for all of their work on the Run for the Royals. They put in a lot of time sorting and distributing prizes and keeping up with all of the money totals.

Now that we can put another CSW behind us we will have a few "quieter weeks" before Iowa testing begins. The end of the second tri-mester is quickly approaching. I encourage you to check your child's grades on Rediker so there are no big surprises when report cards are distributed.

Have a blessed weekend!!

Run for the Royals Update!!
Our Run for the Royals fun run was a great success thanks to all of our students, teachers and families! We also want to thank our generous sponsors ( ISG, Ginty Construction, Green, Henwood, & Hough Investment Group, FRSCPA Certified Accountants and The Anderson Family ) for donating our Run for the Royals dri-fit t-shirts for every student this year!"

The students did a great job running in the fun run and earned their popsicle party for working so hard over the last 9 days! The students exceeded their goal and raised $14,909.35  for playground improvements and middle school sports gear.

All of our classes did an amazing job across the board! Our top three earning classes for the program are:

1st Place: Miss Carmona’s First Grade Class!
2nd Place : Mrs. Ginty’s 2nd Grade Class!
3rd Place: Mrs. Hubbell’s EC-4 Class!

Our top Middle School Class is Mrs. Althoff’s 6th Grade Class!

Our top earning students are:  Alec Prieto in 1st Grade, Danica Denmon in EC-4, and Juliana Weingardt in 2nd Grade

Way to go Royals

Updates and Reminders
**I am sure you are aware that this flu season has been a bad one. We are asking that if you suspect that your child has the flu please keep your child home until all the symptoms are gone. So far we have been very lucky as a school and haven't had problems, but I would like to keep it that way. Thank you for taking this seriously.
