  monumentNew Monument!

Gala 2017 would like to thank CSCOE for their grant and to all of the wonderful families who donated for our Fund-a-Need!

  EmilyEmily Kostik

Please join St. Michael's school community on Saturday night Nov. 25 at 7pm to light up Emily's purple Christmas trees and sing carols.

This is a St. Michael's tradition supporting the St. Michael's family of Chris, Lisa and Alex Kostik.  Alex graduated from St. Michael's last year.  His little sister Emily passed away in January 2014 while she was a 2nd grader at St. Michael's.  Emily loved our school, the color purple and Christmastime!  Everyone who knew Emily and her family were forever changed by their faith and courage throughout Emily's fight against cancer.

Please help us fill the Kostik's front yard like the over 100 St. Michael's parents and students did in 2013 before Emily passed away.

The Kostik's address is 16991 Whitewood Ave in Prior Lake.

  CSCOECatholic Schools of Excellence Summit

Our school faculty and staff attended the Summit of Excellence on  October 18  with 2,000 other Catholic school faculty and staff. This was a fantastic event that enhanced excellence in our school through professional development and collaboration, particularly focusing on 21st century learning. The areas of focus included integrating STEM learning, going green, serving students with disabilities, early childhood classrooms and school safety. The conference was unique because it included all the levels necessary to ensure student success, from the maintenance and front office staff, to the teachers and administrators. It is very rare to have all in the same room to collaborate for student success. It shows the comprehensive manner in which our school is pursuing excellence and ensuring quality in order to create the best possible environment for your child to grow and learn. Please take a moment to enjoy this video recap of the Summit of Excellence:  https://cscoe-mn.org/summit-of-excellence/
