ToyThe Toy Corner at St. Michael

Hi Saint Michael's Family!

You may notice a little red wagon in the lunchroom if you are at school in the next few weeks. It is
"The Toy Corner" wagon and we would love your help filling it with new and used toys for kids aged 0-16.  The Toy Corner is a non-profit organization located in downtown Savage and we give toys to families in need that live in Scott County. This is our most critical time of year and any help would be appreciated.  The toys most needed are for kids aged 5 and up. The last day for collecting toys will be December 12th. (Katie Vander Weit and Susie Williams, Co-Directors of The Toy Corner and former St. Michael's school parents)
Thank you, Target

Congratulations to Mrs. Morgan, who won a $700 educational field trip grant from Target Corporation, to help with costs associated with the spring play, "The Diary of Anne Frank" with her 7th grade students. This grant will reduce costs to nearly $5 for parents, instead of $21 for admission tickets and bus fees to the Park Square Theatre in Saint Paul. This yearly field trip is taken in conjunction with Mr. Olson's and Mrs. Morgan's Holocaust units in social studies and Literature classes.
