From the Principal's Desk
Dear Friends and Families,
WE NEED YOU to become an official Top 20 School. Have you heard your children talking about being above the line? Or maybe they have even mentioned that you are not honoring the absent. What does that all mean? You can find out on Tuesday. Take a look at this Top 20 Moment about Gratitude.

Robotics Program at St. Michael!
ROBOTICS:
St Michael's FTC team # 4644 started their season by attending the High Tech Kids FTC Kickoff at the University of Minnesota- Coffman Union on Sept 9
th. The annual event is a chance for all FTC teams to gather, watch this year's game reveal video and to see a sample playing field set up in person. This year's challenge is called "Relic Recovery" and involves game elements including scoring glyphs (foam blocks) into cryptoboxes (slots) and ending with the "end game" of attempting to place a relic (plastic figure) into a safe zone.
This year's team consists of all 7
th graders; Ana Martel, Catherine Breyen, Maggie Brown, Mary Bradfield, Noah Koboushek, Ryan Glynn and Shannon Maxwell. After the game reveal at the U of M, the team came back to St Michael's and brainstormed ideas on how to build their robot and scoring strategies. The team will compete at several tournaments this year

Information on Holy Family Catholic High School
Finding the right fit for your child's high school experience is an important step in framing his or her future. Holy Family Catholic High School is an exceptional choice to consider. Our graduates emerge ready to lead, learn and make their world a better place. Year after year we see the incredible results when another group of graduates takes their next step into college and life.
There are multiple ways to learn more about our school.
Attend an open house.
These evenings are great opportunities for families to learn more about our tuition assistance, scholarships, transportation options, curriculum, and activities. Our next open house is Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. We hope you will join us. Learn more at http://myschool.hfchs.org/openhouseregistration.php
Schedule a shadow day visit.
Eighth grade students are invited to spend a day with a current Holy Family student to experience a typical day on campus. From the classrooms to the hallways to the cafeteria, a Shadow Day will bring the HFCHS experience to life for your son or daughter!
