Weekly Update -- October 27, 2017
Dear Parents,

It's that time of year - FESTIVAL!! The kids are super excited to get out to the field to play! As I say every year, please remind your children about safety. Sometimes it's easy to relax in our own personal safe environment, but you just never know what could happen.

The Festival committee, headed by Michelle Kline and Jason Kramer, has worked very hard to put together another fun event for our families and the community. Of course it's not just a committee that makes an event like this work - it's the entire school and parish community. We are all really busy, but taking time to commit to volunteer not only helps the school it allows you to meet new people and get reacquainted with old friends. I hope you enjoy your weekend and thank you in advance for your commitment to helping the Festival be a success.

Enjoy the weekend - it's supposed to be beautiful!!

Blessings,
Mrs. Bogataj
Updates and Reminders
** November lunch menus are now past due. Please turn them in Monday. We have not communicated whether a class or classes will miss lunch due to a field trip as well as we should have. Unfortunately, we often do not have that information when the calendar is first distributed. If you have a middle school student who purchased lunch on Thursday, Oct. 26th please feel free to take a credit in December OR email tewell@st-raphaels.com and select an additional lunch in November.

A message from our Diocesan School Superintendent:
The seven Catholic high schools in the Diocese of St. Petersburg provide the highest quality academics with an average ACT score that puts our students in the top 25 percent in the nation . More importantly, Catholic high schools provide an environment where faith, service, and respect are taught and modeled every day. Financial assistance is available for families that qualify. For more information please contact your local Catholic high school today or click here for information about all of the schools.

Don’t forget that the first Diocesan High School placement test is November 4.
