24/6: The Art of Sabbath
The season of Lent begins on March 1 with Ash Wednesday. Throughout this holy season, we will be exploring the theme of Sabbath. Particularly, what might the biblical rhythms of sabbath say to our lives today which are often characterized by busyness, anxiety, and exhaustion? Through worship, prayer, spiritual formation, and service let us together be still and know that God is God throughout the season of Lent. More to come…

Lenten Small Groups Are Forming
Lent begins Wednesday, March 1. Why not consider participating in a Lenten Study as a spiritual practice for Lent?  Sign-ups for Lenten Small Groups will be held in Spellman Hall on this Sunday, and in the Fellowship Area on February 26. Participants need to purchase their books online. If you have any questions contact Jennie Clark. This year’s Lenten Study options are:

The Shack
The  movie The Shack
is coming to a theater near you on March 2 and will only be in the theaters for about one week. The movie is based on the best-selling novel, The Shack by William Paul Young.  The Shack takes us on a father’s uplifting spiritual journey. Plans are underway to offer a Westminster class forum to discuss the film and how it intersects with our Christian faith and the challenges we encounter that can lead us to question God.

Women's Retreat is Full
We are excited to share that the women's retreat is full. If you still haven't registered and would like to go you still have the opportunity to attend for the day on Saturday or add your name to the waiting list. Contact Ann Hatfield for more information.
