All Saints Sunday

The  custom of commemorating all of the  s aints of the church  on a single day goes back to the third century.  On the Festival of All Saints, we remem ber with thanksgiving those who have lived and died in the faith.

They are th e sign of our hope and an image of the glory we shall inherit.  Even more, they are worshipers with us this day as we sing the praises of the God who brings life out of death. All Saints Sunday celebrates the baptized people of God, living and dead,  who make up the body of Christ.

On All Saints Sunday (November 5), we will remember the faithful
who have died during the past year.
