Keep connected with Faith Lutheran
21 September  2017
It's time to start thinking Christmas - and the FLS wine sale fundraiser!

Once again this year, Faith Lutheran School will be having a Custom Wine Fundraiser.  Purchase fine wine with your own customized labels - great for holiday gift giving!

A wine tasting at NW Cellars - the winery who produces the wine for the fundraiser - is open to all.  It's coming up TODAY, Thursday, September 21 from 5 to 7 pm at the NW Cellars Tasting Room in Kirkland, located at  11909 124th Ave NE, Kirkland.  For more information contact Stephanie Jacobsen at Faith Lutheran School.
Sunday is Reconciling in Christ Sunday at Faith

This Sunday, we will celebrate being a new Reconciling in Christ congregation of the ELCA. Pr Rick Pribbernow of Open Door Ministries will be in worship at both 8.30 and 11, to bring the message and present us with our official Reconciling in Christ certificate.

Pr Rick will also lead an Adult Forum at 9.45 am together with our Reconciling in Christ committee, on "what's next" for our Reconciling in Christ congregation.

One "next step" would be to be part of the Open Door Ministries annual Gala and Auction, on Saturday, November 4, at 5 pm in the Brockey Center at South Seattle Community College.  The auction supports vital ministries to our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters in our NW Washington Synod.  (And the auctioneer is our favorite - Troy - from many years of Faith Lutheran School auctions!)  For more information, contact Craig and Kathy Schoof, or visit www.opendoorelca.org.

See you in worship this Sunday!
