Milan Chamber of Commerce will be hosting home-based businesses during Milan's Holiday Open House, Sunday, November 13 th from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
 
Limited booth space is available for $10.  Chamber membership must be current.  Please contact us for membership and booth information - 686-7494.

FEEDING AMERICA BACKPACK PROGRAM!

brandy kemp Photography will be hosting The Big Halloween Can Drive during the month of October supporting the Feeding America Backpack program!  We will be collecting food all month.   Bring your canned goods or donation by any Thursday, Friday or Saturday in October and add to the stash. Milan Christian Care is taking cans and the 
 Milan Chamber of Commerce 
is a drop off for the month of October. 
October 29th is the big push.  Just drop in with your favorite ghouls and have your professional portraits made in exchange for 10 or more cans of food to be donated or you can donate $20 or more.  bkP will be decked out in Halloween decor and there will be fall and Halloween settings outdoors to take cell phone pictures of your little monsters, shopping indoors, professional portraits, and don't forget Papa Pigs BBQ!  All money donations will go directly to the school.  
Preferred list of foods for backpacks
(all individual portions)
 
cheese and crackers, peanut butter and crackers
juice boxes, milk boxes, chocolate milk
apple sauce
Mac n Cheese
small cans of SpaghettiOs, etc.
granola bars, meal bars
individual boxes of cereal



The Milan Police Department is proud to host the "2016 Shop with a Cop Event".   Last year, they were able to assist 34 families and 76 children by providing clothes, school supplies and/or toys to the less fortunate children of Milan.  Their goal for 2016 is to help provide for 100 kids.  The program continues to grow every year, thanks to the businesses and citizens of Milan and the surrounding area.

 (if paying by check, please indicate "shop with a cop" on the memo line). 
Cash donations may be delivered to the same address.
