Announcements...

GARDEN  - We wanted to share with you a picture of the flowers for Billy Jewel's funeral yesterday.  All the flowers were provided from the Grace Church garden!

DRIVE THRU COFFEE AND DONUTS MINISTRY - The ECW will again host Drive Thru Coffee and Donuts on Thursday, August 17th from 6:30 am to 9:00 am!

FAMILY GAME NIGHT - The August family game night is scheduled for Friday, August 18th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm!  You don't want to miss out so mark your calendar!

AND, SPEAKING OF GAMES...DOES ANYONE PLAY BRIDGE? We have had a request for Bridge at game night this month. If you are interested, please let Emily know.

VESTRY MEETING - Vestry will meet on Sunday, August 20th after worship. Please submit all reports to Cindy by this Thursday, August 10th for distribution.

CONFIRMANDS - All Confirmands and Sponsors will be blessed at the August 20th worship service. The group will meet for the Confirmation Class after worship as well. 

INQUIRER'S CLASS EXTENDED -  Since so many have expressed an interest in the book for the Inquirer's class,  Episcopal Questions Episcopal Answers , we will make time on September 17th and 24th to further explore the Episcopal faith.  We will meet between services.  Emily has extra copies of the book if you need one.

BISHOP'S VISIT AND CONFIRMATION - The Bishop will be visiting and confirming our youth on September 10th at 10 am followed by a luncheon.  P lease bring your favorite side dish, vegetable dish, or dessert. The Vestry will provide the main dish. Please sign-up your dish in the upper Parish Hall. If you have any questions, please let Terry know. 

FALL SERVER SCHEDULE - We will be finalizing the Fall Server schedule by the end of the month.  If you are new to Grace and/or if you have never served as a Worship Lay Leader but would like to serve as a Lector, Chalicer or Acolyte at either service, please email Cindy as soon as possible.  We are especially in need of Youth at 9:00 to serve as Acolytes or as a Worship Assistant.
