California: State Supreme Decides Referendum Case on Senate Map 

 

  

 

The California State Supreme Court issued a ruling on Friday settling the question of what senate map to use in the event a pending effort to petition the map to referendum is successful. read more.   

 

ldaho: Commission Map Redux 

 

 

 

After three attempts, the Idaho Redistricting Commission has approved a second state legislative map. Earlier in the year, the first commission (since disbanded) deadlocked and failed to approve any map.  read more.

 New York: Lawmakers Unveil Controversial State Legislative Map 

 

 

 

 

The much awaited, long-dreaded map for state lawmakers in Albany was released last Thursday. The months leading up to this map's unveiling has been nothing short of controversial as state lawmakers publicly bickered with the governor and former mayor Koch about the process, timing, and how prisoners should be counted. read more.
