Topic: Honduras: A Community in a
Time of Turmoil
Rachel Reed will share her experiences working with an organization
in the community of Nueva Suyapa at the time of the Honduran coup.
She'll highlight how igniting ownership, through the medium of
community, is affecting a high-risk neighborhood in a country
plagued by political turmoil, violence, and extreme poverty. In a
Honduran-run organization in a slum neighborhood of Tegucigalpa,
the living out of community has become a reality.

Come explore the deeper meaning of Holy Communion with your

taking part. Kids will make communion chalices and the whole family

Welcome Table

What's new at the
Welcome Table? Glad you asked. We are now giving away a collectible
LSC item to all visitors who fill out a visitor card and turn it in
at the Welcome Table. Also, pick up CD copies of past sermons. We
ask for a suggested donation of $5 for individual sermons and $15
for a series. The Welcome Table is your one-stop shop for info on
small groups, Bible studies, prayer groups, upcoming events, ways
to get involved and is chock-full of resources that complement our
current sermon series.
