BUG Run update:  Heather Chouinard reports we are close to $3,500 already in sponsorships. Flyers are out and if you are on Facebook please share our posts. The sign up is now open on the Fort Myers Track Club website. Mark your calendars-January 28th, all hands on deck.

Service-Breakfast with Santa is Dec 10. Rachel Toomey reports Sun Harvest is going to donate again this year. MS Holiday Party is Dec. 15. We will need a good number of volunteers, some to set up and prep and others to assist those with getting their food and cleaning up.   Bill Grant will lead this once again.                              
Today's program: South FL Water Management District

Our speaker today was Phil Flood from  South Florida Water Management District. His district covers 18,000 square miles and he talked about protecting our state water resources. He discussed the following; chronology of water management changes, operational challenges (example-lake "O" is the 2nd most endangered dam in the US), comprehensive Everglades restoration plan, general restoration strategies, water quality and treatment and the dispersed water management program (storing natural water for later use).   To learn more visit sfwmd.gov.To reach Phil call 239-338-2929 ext7768 or pflood@sfwmd.gov

50/50: Was conducted by Ed Ludden. Anyone can participate in the 50/50 however only members are eligible to pull for the ace of hearts.  Bill Grant had the winning ticket but did not pull the ace so the jackpot rolls over.
Happy dollars: The "Sheriff"  collected happy dollars, thank you to the speaker, post-election support group forming, Kim received award at state convention, happy, pray for our country, new members, starting speakers bureau, winnings back to Eliminate.
DCM (Division Council Meeting) Nov 15th at 6pm. Cape Coral Kiwanis Hall, 360 Santa Barbara, Cape Coral 33991. Cost $5, there will be light apps, dessert, coffee, etc. Florida Governor Gary will be the speaker an other presentations as well. RSVP by Nov 13 to Stewart Ross (contact info in left margin).
