Today's program: The Importance of Early Childhood Educ.

Dr. Elliott, Professor from FGCU College of Education was our speaker today. The first 5 years of a child's life are fundamentally important. Research tells us first 5 years for development of the brain and first 3 years are critical in shaping the child's brain architecture. 50/50: Was conducted by Bill Grant today. Anyone can participate in the 50/50 however only members are eligible to pull for the ace of hearts.  Barb Segel had the winning ticket but did not pull the ace.
Happy dollars: Sheriff Steve Hess collected happy dollars, thank you to the speaker, Ohio win, Div 3 Football, welcome Paul and Marilyn.

Interclub opportunity-November 2nd, at Kiwanis House downtown Fort Myers, Noon with  Kiwanis Club of Fort. Myers. A special musical program will be presented by Kiwanian Bill Courtwright on Pete Seeger.
