Passion Fruit Cranberry Sauce
1 12oz bag cranberries
1/2 cup Aunty Lilikoi passion fruit syrup
1/2 cup (one 4oz bag) Salty Wahine Lilikoi Cane Sugar
Clean sort and discard damaged berries. Boil cranberries in Passion Fruit Syrup and Lilikoi Cane sugar until they pop. Remove from heat and let stand until cool. Refrigerate. Serve chilled. Serves 6
Root Vegetable Medley
chop the following
1 cup carrots
1cup parsnips
1 cup turnips
1 cup beets
1 red potato
1 purple potato
1 russet potato
1 sweet potato
2 cups onions (sliced)
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup Salty Wahine Hawaiian Rub
Put olive oil and Hawaiian Rub in bowl. Add vegetables and toss until coated. Transfer to 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour; stirring occasionally.
Thanksgiving Turkey
13-16 pound turkey
1 stick of butter
olive oil
1 4oz bag of Salty Wahine Hawaiian Rub
Rinse turkey in fresh water. Pat dry with paper towel.
Cut a stick stick of butter in about 8 pieces. Lift skin of turkey up and stick pieces of butter between skin and meat of turkey. Also put some butter on inside of turkey. Pour about 1/4 cup of olive oil on the outside of turkey, rub all around the bird.
Take a palm full of "Hawaiian Rub" and rub inside cavity of Turkey. Take another palm full of "Hawaiian Rub" and rub all over outside of Turkey. Place turkey in "Reynolds" turkey roasting bag and follow the directions that come with the roasting bag. Enjoy!
