A MESSAGE FROM MRS. STALLMANN
We have been busy working this week during our in-services to make sure we are all up to date on policies and procedures from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and
St. Alphonsus Parish. And we are starting to work on the goals we have for the school of Marketing and Academic Excellence. The teachers are so excited to see the students and for the school year to begin!

I did want to talk about the changes in morning drop off and afternoon pick up. Gym entrance doors will open at 7:30 am and students can be dropped off and they will walk right into the building and walk up to their classrooms (K3 & K4 will have a slightly different format). We will have aides present helping to guide students and the teachers will be in their classrooms.

At the end of the day there is a slightly different format as well. There are no buses so we do not have to worry about bus lines. Our goal is that all parents use the car line. Think of when you use the Culver’s take out line. You place your order and move to a designated spot. As an order is given to the car and that car leaves, all cars move up in line.
That is how our car line will work as well. We will have the cars in line parallel with the sidewalk. As students get into cars, those cars move out of the line and exit and all cars behind it move forward. We also do not want parents parking on Churchway as the neighbors complain and the parking and double parking that happens has caused dangerous conditions. If you want to park your car and come get your child up at the sidewalk, you will need to park in the main church parking lot. Because we have so many students, the car line is the safest and quickest way to get students into car and out of the parking lot.

Please see the enclosed letter for more clarification. We will see you all on Monday, Aug. 27 for Meet & Greet and class pictures (3-7 pm).

Sincerely,

Mrs. Stallmann
