Mathilde's Mentionables
Women's League has an ongoing chesed project, named in honor of our founder, Mathilde Schecter. We are collecting new and gently worn -- clean and looking new -- bras of all kinds to donate to shelters or for natural disasters. All types of bras are welcome, including sports, nursing, and mastectomy bras. To initiate this project, we will be collecting these items to distribute to women in homeless and battered women's shelters in the Seaboard Region at Convention 2017, which Judy Meyer and Rima Riedel will attend from  July 23 to 26 .

A labeled container will be in the lobby until July 20th.

The BSBI Co-Ed Softball Team Needs You!

Help us to maintain the great summer tradition of the Greater Hartford Synagogue Softball League! Last Sunday, for the first time in twenty years, BSBI had to forfeit our game because we could not field the minimum of nine players. Many of those who led us to numerous champion seasons have aged or moved away, and we need new recruits to fill their places!

Join us on Sunday mornings at the Cigna Fields in Bloomfield for our 10:00 am game every week through August.
