Lupe believes educating and arming the community with knowledge in the home buying process, credit establishment and if needed credit repair to achieve investment goals.

Lupe is one of seven siblings of first generation Mexican Americans.  She was born and raised on the West side of Chicago in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. Her family is originally from Coahuila, Mexico.  She is the first of her siblings to graduate from college, earning a B.A. degree from U.W. Lupe was appointed by the mayor to sit on the Housing Strategy committee, has served as a poll worker in past elections, and is active in her community. She also serves on several boards and committees relating to housing.
