The Board of Directors of Apna Ghar, Inc., (Our Home), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Neha Gill as Executive Director.  Neha succeeds Serena Low who was the executive director since 2011, and is leaving Apna Ghar as her family is relocating out of state.   We thank Serena for her service and commitment to Apna Ghar during the past two and half years, and we welcome Neha into this new role.  

Neha Gill has been a passionate advocate for women's rights and a dedicated member of Apna Ghar since 2003. Formerly the Director of Legal Services and Client Data Systems, Neha has overseen program management and development at the agency. During her tenure at Apna Ghar, Neha has lead consultations for local and international NGOs, government officials, and staff of UN agencies on providing domestic violence services to marginalized populations. 

Prior to joining Apna Ghar, Neha worked as a human resources manager for multinational consulting companies.  She currently serves on the board of the Chicago chapter of the United Nations Association.  Neha received her Master of Science degree in International Public Service and certificates in International Development, Leadership, Public Policy and International NGO Management from DePaul University.
