welcome Robert & Keegan
Robert & Keegan
ONE CHURCH. TOGETHER.
SHAPING THE NEXT GENERATION.
A Note From Tim Including Some Important Dates & Details:

Dear Momentum Church Family & Friends-

Over the past month I've had the opportunity to interact, meet, and talk with over 20 candidates expressing interest in our Youth Pastor position. One of those individuals stood out from the moment I met him.

I'm excited to announce Robert Hatton as the new Youth Pastor at Momentum. Robert has a passion for Jesus and the next generation. He's currently completing his final semester at the University of Kentucky. He's a huge CATS fan and loves sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time raising up leaders. He has a passion for relational ministry and building relationships.

One of the things that impressed me was his path to ministry. His heart was touched early in college for ministry and his home church, Calvary Christian Church, Winchester, KY, has invested in him as a leader ever since. Calvary has one of the most innovative, successful, and growing ministries in the state of Kentucky and Robert has had a front row seat as well as having the opportunity to roll up his sleeves and be a part of God's work there.

Another great thing about Robert is Keegan (pictured above). Robert and Keegan have been together since early in High School. Keegan was the President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes her Senior year in High School and is finishing her final semester as an Elementary Education major at Georgetown College. Keegan grew up with a unique view of ministry as her father is the Next Generations Pastor at Calvary Christian Church.

While researching Robert (he has no idea I'm about to write this), I ran across an article in the Lexington Herald Leader from December 28, 2008 when his Clark County Basketball team was ranked #6 in the state and defeated Trinity in a holiday tournament after Robert scored 26 points and contributed 6 assists as the team captain. Robert's coach said the following about him:

"[He's] a winner; the best captain I've had in 11 years."

Robert possesses an innate ability to lead. Join me in welcoming Robert & Keegan to Momentum in the following ways:
