Margaret Marotta, Haverhill Public Schools Superintendent,
and Dougan Sherwood, President and CEO
of Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce / Greater Haverhill Foundation

Margaret Marotta comes to the Haverhill Public School System from the Salem MA Public School System where she served as assistant superintendent for the last six years and as director of pupil personnel services for two years. A graduate of Assumption College, she earned two masters degrees from Suffolk University and is currently a doctoral candidate at Boston University. She has proven herself to be a proactive educational leader and is skilled at bringing together families, teachers, community supports and civic leaders. She resides in Lynnfield with her family.
Dougan Sherwood is the new president and CEO at the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce & Greater Haverhill Foundation. He was co-founder and managing director of Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) in Greater St. Louis and most recently served as the managing director of new markets for the Cambridge Innovation Center in Cambridge, Mass. Dougan is is anxious to make an impact on the greater Haverhill community. He is a graduate of the University of Utah, and resides in West Newbury with his wife and sons.
