The I AM program has officially started which means there is a lot to do as we approach deadlines for college admissions. The next couple of months will be busy as the CSU and UC applications are due November 30.
On Wednesday September 23, we will have a fieldtrip to UCR and CSULA and
Saturday September 26, we will host a Personal Statement Workshop. For more details on both events, please read bellow.
During the fall, we will have a few more weekend college application workshops at USC. The purpose of these workshops is to help you with your applications, so take advantage of these opportunities!
We know that you may be feeling a bit overwhelmed as you start preparing for the college admissions process but know that the I AM program will help you along the way and provide you with important information as well as support. We want you to be able to enjoy your senior year but we will also make sure you stay on track to get into college and graduate from high school!
STUDENTS--It was a pleasure meeting with you over these last couple of weeks. We are really looking forward to working with you this year; your mentors are all excited to meet with you very soon. Please read through the newsletter so you do not miss any important deadlines.
