Titi Aynaw-- From Ethiopia to Israel

Titi will sha r e her experiences of making Aliyah (immigrating) to Israel from Ethiopia, serving as a commander in the IDF, being crowned the 1st Jewish-Ethiopian Miss Israel, competing in Israeli Survivor, founding "Project Titi for Youth in Risk" and meeting President Obama.

Join Daniel and Ben and head up to Balaban Ranch for Shabbat with some hiking, good company, campfire. We will enjoy Shabbat by hanging out with old friends and meeting new friends All hiking gear, food, and rides will be provided by Hillel, you just need to bring yourself!

Sponsor a Shabbat Dinner!

Shabbat Dinner is the cornerstone of Jewish life at Hillel of Silicon Valley, and we rely on the support of our wonderful community to provide Shabbat Dinner every Friday night to our five campuses.

Cost is anywhere from $200-400 (depending on the menu). If you are interested, or have any questions, please contact our Assistant Director, Mitch Reitman, at mreitman@hillelsv.org. 

Mentor a Student

We are looking for members of the community to help mentor our students - in career advice, for tutoring, and other fields. If you have networking opportunities; or are skilled in math, science, programming, engineering, writing, creating cover letters, or building resumes, please contact Ben at benblechman@hillelsv.org.
