Houston Kraft
Houston Kraft is our assembly key note speaker. Houston  is passionate about helping people create lives filled with compassion, character, purpose, and love. He creates cultures through storytelling, experiences, and hands-on tools that leave lasting and sustainable change.

Brandon White
Brandon White is our All Star Session Speaker! Brandon is an a uthor, speaker, and youth mover, who helps teens lead teens  Participants will learn how to take ownership of their identity, interests, and impairments.

DJ High Top Returns to SLC
Saturday night is the annual SLC Dance! This year's theme is Dance Around the World! Get ready for a dance journey around the world! Dress comfortable and casual to dance the evening away with DJ High Top. Don't forget to take fun photos with your squad in the photo booth.

Please submit your Treatment Authorization Form Online if you have not done so already.

These forms must be received before conference 

You will not be able to check-in at conference until we have received all your appropriate forms and waivers. 

Arrival Information 
When you arrive at conference please Park in Lot 25  follow the 4-H signs and SLC staff to check in at the Segundo Conference Housing Office.

Check-in times
Pacific  Coast Highway: 7/20, 3:00-5:00 PM 
Route 66: 7/21, 3:00-5:00 PM

Check-out/Pick up time
7/23 at 3:15-3:30 PM (after the closing assembly) at the Segundo Conference Housing Office.

Please note: Old Davis Road off of I-80 will be closed due to construction the entire duration of SLC.


Parking
We will be staying in the Segundo Dorms. Please park in visitor Parking Lot 25 located on Orchard Rd off of La Rue Rd .  

If you are planning on driving to SLC and parking on campus for the entirety of conference you must have a parking permit. You may obtain a parking permit in advance through SLC registration. Email [email protected] if you still need a parking permit.

You must obtain your parking pass at check-in within a 1/2 hour of arriving. Parking regulations will be enforced and you may be ticketed. 
What to bring?
What to bring? 
  • A reusable water bottle 
  • A swimsuit and towel for the pool party
  • Sun protection- sunscreen, hats, visors, etc... 
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Pack clothes that follow the California 4-H Dress Guidelines
  • Optional dance outfit

Weather
Davis can get very hot in the Summer. In July the weather highs are in 100s and the lows 60s. Please pack accordingly.

What is a Program Assistant (PA?) 
Program Assistants (PAs) are recent 4-H alumni and college students/graduates. The PAs lead group discussions and attend tours with you!

Who is my PA?
PA's will be contacting all of their delegates to introduce themselves and share their contact information. Please keep an eye out for an email from them soon!  A webpage will also be available soon with PA bios and contact information. 

As a parent what other info should I know about SLC?
Parents should read the SLC Parent Information Sheet for more info about conference including drop-off, pick-up and emergency contact information.
