Fall  2016, Issue 1
Welcome!
Greetings!

I am pleased to announce that, after much hard work, our organization has become active once again. Over the last two years our all-volunteer Board has been hard at work creating valuable programs and content which we are anxious to share with folks who consider themselves Environmental Educators in the state of Arizona.

We invite you to join us on our journey to make the most out of our organization, and to learn about the wonderful member benefits we have for you. These include a certification program recognized by the North American Association for Environmental Education ( www.naaee.org), an Environmental Literacy Plan Working Group, and access to professional development opportunities. Check out our website: www.arizonaee.org for more details. We'll be rolling out a new membership platform by the end of the year, so stay tuned!

Thanks for all of the hard work you do to elevate our profession every day.
Cheers,
LoriAnne Barnett
President, AAEE 2016-2017
Monthly beat
Last month marked the US Department of Interior's National Park Service Centennial. Park staff across the US, in 413 Units, invited us to #FindYourPark. We celebrate all Park staff and the excellent Environmental Education Programs they share with us now, and 100 years into the future!
