Friends of ALIPAC,
It has been a very intense day. While thousands of you were
hitting the phone lines hard, we conducted interviews with talk
radio shows, newspapers, and TV stations opposing the Dream Act
Amnesty and working to rally more Americans to our side.
At this point, we are being told that most of the voice mail
systems for Congress are packed.
Special thanks to all of you who contacted the US Senate campaigns
with us today. We certainly got some attention there and we are
compiling the feedback information tonight.
Tonight our volunteers are collecting information for our efforts
tomorrow morning.
ALIPAC has more new strategies to deploy in the morning.
If you live on the west coast in either the Pacific or Mountain
time zones, please consider getting up early to help us start a new
wave of calls around 6am Pacific. We know that is very early, but
the US Senate offices in DC open around 8:30 am EST and we need our
hard hitting activists from the west coast with us early in the
morning, if you can join us.
Tomorrow morning we hope to show you where and how you can
concentrate your power to push on the right political pressure
points to push Amnesty back!
Remember that Senator Reid is going to act like he has the votes
all the way up to 2:15pm Eastern Time, but he will fall back to a
later time, if he does not have each vote he needs. Many of the
Senators are very nervous about what is happening and today, you
helped many campaigns realize what kind of dog house they are about
to be in, if this thing passes.
We believe that Reid and Obama are within 1-2 votes of what they
need to pass Amnesty.
Senator Brown has come out against the Amnesty bill and even
Senators McCain and Cornyn say they plan to vote against Cloture on
the Amnesty bill / senate defense spending bill.
Your calls are making an impact. We just need to do it again in
the morning for five intense hours of activism.
We need you early in the morning with us, if you can make
it.
This will be your last five hours of activism time before the vote
when we begin.
